Welcome to the home of Scottish Mum and her blog. I am one of the growing band of bloggers. I am a mum and I blog – it’s simple. I am Scottish, so I am a Scottish Mummy Blogger.
We can be parenting blogs, or cooking blogs, or lifestyle blogs, or just blog about our families.
The fact that we blog is what brings us together as a community. Many mummy (and daddy) bloggers chat via Twitter and Facebook and there is a large Internet community of bloggers who work and play together (did I mention the conferences).
I was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland. I like pasta, yoghurt, chocolate and crisps, but I try not to east them as much as I can. Follow my journey as I learn, live and grow with my children.
I write a lot of poems, often doric poems, I am very shy about them. Go figure although if you dig deeply enough, you’ll find some.
I am a winner of Nanowrimo – which means I wrote a novel of 50,000 words in one month. 2011 was a good writing year for me, and I have worked with many brands which has been absolutely fantastic.
I freelance blog for people who find it difficult to make up their own content, and give support and advice for social media and blogging at Madly Social.
If you need to get in touch, feel free to use my contact page.
Regards
Scottish Mum
