What Did We Think?

myFirst AI Camera for Kids

This is a genius little gadget for kids. I hadn’t heard about this before, and there’s a lot going on with this straight out of the box. The fact that the camera has a built in battery that can be charged by a cable, really makes products like this stand out from the crowd. There are lots of built in features and we haven’t really got completely in to everything it can do.

For a camera for children, adding AI is a sensible thing to do, as youngsters nowadays are growing up with tech that my generation wouldn’t have even thought about, let alone imagine. There is also a built in video diary with a pin code protecting it, for all those enthusiasts who are a little older and want a modern way or recording their thoughts and creations.

There is a child friendly safe social circle included for introduction to social media. The camera has a selfie light that allows youngsters to be like mum or dad or their older friends and siblings, with a grown up dedicated selfie taking shutter button with 1080P Video Recording, which is fairly decent. There’s wifi connection and instant sharing for friends that are connected, other gadgets and mum and dad.

The camera specs are 20MB on the back camera, and 16MP on the selfie lens. That is whopping. Included, there is also 1GB RAM, 16GB storage space on the included memory card and that can be expanded up to a huge 128GB memory card and an enormous amount of space.

Oh my gosh, there is just sooo much to say about this little camera. I think we could write a book about how well youngsters can learn the world of video editing, content creation and making something that can also be set to music, the same way that grown ups do, but in a safe way. This is a very high quality piece of kit for kids to use. We are seriously impressed with it and still haven’t scratched the surface of the capabilities.

The camera needs to use the app to get the best out of all the features while setting it up.

How To Use The myFirst Camera 50

There is so much to this little camera, that I’ve popped on a video from My First Tech to help with it. The app is fairly simple once we get past the userid stage. That confused us for a minute or two.
