What an odd thing, I have just been reading your explanation. I wonder if they are trying to sell it?

Seems strange that the grass is clipped, but the buildings look so shabby.

I’d love to know the story behind it, but there must be some reason for it.

At one time the whole park would have been busy with people, but it’s so deserted and empty now. It is spooky now, that’s for sure.

That really does look quite eerie – there is something spooky about empty buildings, I’ve had to survey a few in my time and you always feel like there’s someone watching you! Really interesting photo.

It’s the abandoned caravan site just outside Cults in Aberdeen. It’s actually quite eerie. There doesn’t seem to be anyone living there, yet all the grass, hedges between the vans and the tarred roads and driveways are absolutely immaculate so the rotting vans are spaced inbetween the beautifully kept grounds.

A wee note, and I am so sorry I have to add this to my website.

I sincerely thank the huge amount of readers that show up weekly to read my wee blog, and this note doesn’t apply to the majority of you.

I’m not perfect, and this website is free to browse, read, and use my recipes.  It’s a personal website, not a big business.  Sometimes I make mistakes.  If you find one, I’d like you to let me know so I can fix it, but please don’t call me names.

Also, please don’t use my photographs anywhere else, as I have taken most of them myself.  With some photographs, I’ve paid to be able to use them or been given the right to use them by their owners.

If you wish to use my photographs, please ask.
